A listserver reflects individual email messages to a group of subscribers. If a recipient of the message then replies to the list, their reply is also reflected to the whole group.
This is a very useful tool for group communication.
It can be utilized to make subscribers aware of events that may have been changed or cancelled, or last minute events that may come up.
It can also be a fun and informative way to share experiences or knowledge that can benefit the entire group.
Subscribers can remove themselves from the list simply by sending an e-mail to a specified unsubscribe address. In this case it would be nitc-news-off@northiowatouringclub.com.
New subscribers can be added by sending an e-mail to: nitc-news-on@northiowatourningclub.com or they can subscribe at the website: www.northiowatouringclub.com
We also offer a digest mode which compiles all posts for a day into a single e-mail. If you would prefer this type of contact, just send an e-mail to webmaster@northiowatouringclub.com with the subject: "NITC digest mode".
Once you have subscribed to the list, you can post messages by sending an e-mail to:
nitc-news@northiowatouringclub.com Only registered users are allowed to post to the list. No attachments are allowed. You should set your e-mail client to "text only" for the best results when posting to the listserver.
